And the service is great too. Sarah gave us very friendly service with a smile. The gentleman who was serving us was nice too. I asked if I could sample some of the meats before I made my decision. And he let try some of each.
It's truly an Oasis in the middle of the desert
How far would you drive for amazing BBQ?! Well if you're ever on Interstate I20 freeway between Midland and Fort Worth/Dallas, then you must stop in Roscoe TX and taste some of the most mouth watering BBQ on this planet.
The Brisket & Rib meats were ULTRA tender and had an amazing flavor. I had to stop there and ask how I can combine the 2. He recommended a Brisket sandwich with a side of ribs. Best BBQ Combo I've EVER had!! It's like sex for your mouth and I'm not exaggerating.
My son likes to review all bbq joints and he really rated you're brisket way up there.
Jalapeño Sausage is good and not that spicy
Best pulled pork, Brisket and ribs we have had in Texas hands down. Great little place with friendly owners and relaxed atmosphere. Will eat here again. We travel a LOT and their meat is better then anything we have tried in bigger cities!

But their "Regular sauce" found on each table is VERY flavorful. I found myself dousing that all over sandwich and ribs.
We were heading east on I-20 and got hungry so I googled bbq. They were a couple of miles off our route and Google said they closed at 8. It was 8 15 on a Friday so I called to check the hours. The girl who answered the phone said that yes, they do close at 8 but if we weren't too far away to come on in and they would feed us anyway.
Awesome BBQ! When someone tells me it is the best BBQ joint I usually approach it with skepticism. But, Blacklands is just better that good! I was really impressed and when we used then for a company BBQ off site they catered the event perfectly. I will use them again and be back many times in my lifetime.

The food was really good and portions were huge. We make the trip from Fort Worth to Odessa often and we will definitely be coming back!
